Director's cut diving

The project's objective is to illustrate the Ligurian depths through the sophisticated language of high production value video to capture the emotions and interest of the viewer through its show of naturalistic wonders.

The filming and post-production work were carried out in high definition, with sophisticated camera angles, multi-point lighting, computer graphic reconstructions in 3D, research from historical sources and narrative devices that make watching a moving experience, possibly a new frontier in underwater video footage.

The videos are complete with notes detailing depth, degree of difficulty, necessary certification, and the required scuba techniques and skills.

Lastly, the diving centre listings are true “instruction manuals”, useful for the evaluation and choice of the best diving points and diving centres.

An important synergy between the usefulness of high quality DVD video and the interactivity and immediacy of the web.
